Italian youngster Ignazio D’Agosto will return to competitive Eurocup Formula Renault for his third season in the championship. The 19-year-old talent joins Koiranen GP after spending two years with Belgian squad KTR.

D’Agosto debuted in cars two years ago in Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0 and spent a quiet, learning year in the championship? collecting four points.

His 2013 campaign saw huge improvement from the Italian, becoming a race winner in Austria, being a regular points scorer and ending up eighth in the standings.

D’Agosto is the fifth driver to join the 2014 Eurocup Formula Renault championship. Tech 1 announced their line-up of Egor Orudzhev, Anthoine Hubert and Vasily Romanov, while Martin Rump has joined Fortec Motorsports.
