Melville McKee will return to the Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0 championship, replacing Felipe Fraga at the Dutch MP Motorsport team.

The British/Singaporean driver expressed his excitement in returning to the track for the upcoming event this weekend at Motorland, Aragon.

?I am very pleased to be back in the World Series by Renault paddock this weekend. Finally getting back to racing and can’t wait to hit the track on Friday.?

McKee, 18, started out his single-seater career in 2010, finishing third in Formula Lista Junior. In 2011, he joined ARTA Engineering in Formula Renault Alps, taking three wins over the season to finish fourth overall.

Last year saw the BRDC Rising Star compete in the Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0 with Interwetten, where he finished eighth in the championship, scoring consistently in the top-ten and recording one second-place result.

McKee has been testing pre-season in GP3 with Bamboo Engineering at Silverstone where he finished fifth and seventh fastest in a two-day test. He will hope to be competitive this weekend too.
