Raffaele Marciello was in a league of his own in race one of European F3 at Hockenheim, taking a dominant win in rainy conditions despite a spin mid-race.

A top class race from Felix Serralles saw him force Alex Lynn into a mistake early on and hold on to second, while Red Bull junior Tom Blomqvist took third.

Sven Muller took his first major points haul of the season in fourth, ahead of Harry Tincknell and Josh Hill. Lucas Auer fought through the field after a spin to take seventh, narrowly beating Felix Rosenqvist with Will Buller in ninth. Finally, Daniil Kvyat took his first points in his maiden European F3 race in tenth.

Marciello will be starting race two from pole, with Blomqvist alongside.
