Pro Mazda rookie Aaron Telitz claimed pole for a second straight race in qualifying at Barber Motorsports Park.

Telitz edged out Garett Grist for top spot by a mere 0.014 seconds.

His Pelfrey team-mates Weiron Tan and Patrico O’Ward locked out row two of the grid, albeit over half a second back, with Grist’s fellow Juncos driver Will Owen in fifth.

Cape duo and Telitz’s fellow USF2000 graduates Jake Eidson and Nico Jamin were next up, with Nicolas Dapero, Jake Parsons and Jorge Cevallos rounding out what is just a 10-car field.
